We believe that everyone can have leadership qualities, they need only to be discovered and developed. That’s what we are helping to do with our friendly team of coaches.
Thanks to the gained knowledge, leaders can build their team, implement the project and share their experience with other volunteers.
The training of young leaders takes place at three levels:
If you want to change the country, start with yourself and your community.
At the initial stage the volunteer gets basic knowledge that will help him to join existing projects and initiate their own.
With a luggage of valuable experience from a local organization, volunteers go to national trainings where they exchange experiences, increase their level of knowledge and have a chance to join the project at the national level.
YMCA STYLE Leadership Courses
A series of trainings for young people aged 16-23 who want to gain knowledge of leadership, teamwork, coaching, and fundraising.
School of Social Leadership
Innovative training course with 22 lessons per 3 hours (freely available), combining lectures and practical classes on social projects, the basics of preparing applications for grant support, presenting their ideas in the style of TED reports and finding opportunities to participate in international projects. The school is elaborated by YMCA Lviv with support of the Lviv Regional State Administration and YMCA in Aarhus (Denmark).
This level is for those leaders, who, first of all, are ready and want to represent our country in a worthy way. It is also a great opportunity to get acquainted with the specifics of social projects implementation abroad.
